Volez, volez, les Mouettes au milieu des nuages Dirigez-vous vers la côte et dites-lui que je viens, je viens Océan, porte moi vite à travers tes ondes Emmène-moi à celle que j'aime qui est tellement si loin! ____________________________________________

____________________________________________ COLD HEARTS ABOUND Where ‘ere I go There’s guile and deceit I keep a wary eye on everyone I meet So often profit captivates lucre has its charms for which many a sordid rake will gladly do one harm I cannae trust a soul for most will lie and cheat even those I know who seem kindly and sweet Countless craven reprobates of every stripe and shade are pleased to take and take and take by pistol point or blade Cold, cold hearts abound as far as I can see The coldest heart I found was the love who betrayed me ____________________________________________

_________________________________________ THE CARDS ON THE TABLE The cards are on the table For everyone to see that the Queen loves her Jack And the Jack his Queen The King doesn’t notice perhaps he doesn’t care He’s too busy winning money and counting up his share The Ace of Hearts is shocked as is the Deuce of Spades All the Diamonds and the Clubs start to feel disarrayed The King, slightly miffed looks up from his hoard saying “Shuffle and deal. I’m a very busy lord!” The cards are on the table For everyone to see that the Queen loves her Jack And the Jack his Queen Yes, the Queen has her Jack and the Jack his Queen While the King counts his money assiduously ____________________________________________

about

We are back to the high seas with our fifth album "Shake Those Bones", our follow up album to "Skull and Magpies". Ten new tunes plus a hidden track inspired by rogues, reprobates, romance and rum. There's shades of ska, celtic flavors, a cumbiaesque song, a cajunesque song, a song in French, a song in Irish and more.

This is not your Disney pirate fare or rehashed trad -- oh no. And I can say with confidence that you've never heard anything like it. Take a listen and tell me if I am wrong ;-)

The beautiful album artwork is by fine artist and illustrator, Dale Horstman. He captured the feel perfectly! Dale did the artwork on "Skull & Magpies" also.

We recorded at Wally Sound in Oakland, once again to 2 inch analog tape, then mixed down to digital. Wally engineered, mixed and mastered. Wally gives good sound!
